All these...moments... will be lost..in time...
Is there an option in games to capture and replay your gamespace triumphs?
Or for that matter, the moments when it all started to go wrong (for the purposes of postmortem)?
Would/do you get much use out that functionality?
yes indeed video analysis of moves and plays is common in many games. Indeed some multiplay FPS games like halo allow you to record games and in the level deisgn tools you can put cameras whereever you want.
In world of warcraft guilds often video fights with bosses in order to analyse how their group worked (or didnt)
elite PVP players (player versus player)will analyse their fights to see if they can be more efficient in their movement during battle
Most people use software like FRAPS to capture game action
yes indeed there is.... there is a toolset called FRAPS that captures video game footage.
this is quite commen in creating Machinima (see inspetionauts) and at elite level in RPG's FPS's where teams & PVP (player versus player) players review their tactical approach to situations and bosses and fights
